1. the villian- this is the crawlers as they kill the women of one by one.
2.the donor- unknown previous climbers that has left scrawlings on wall.
3. the magical helper- juno, beth, sam and rebecca.
4.princess and her father- princess is daughter, as Sarah wants her,and hallucinates about her towards the end. The father cant be distingiushed; both died at begining of film.
5. dispatcher- juno as she leads them to cave of which isn't the one she said, and Sarah as she sends people off to do jobs.
6. Hero- Sarah as she is innocent and ends with her daughter but still trpped in the cave.
7. false hero- juno, as she lies about killing beth and she blames it on the crawlers, she isnt innocent as she makes out, just trying to look a hero

i found it hard to connect The Descent to Vladimir Propp's seven actions, his seven action is hard to apply to films especially to certain genres.
